Appellate

Appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Circuit Courts, Federal Courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Our attorneys have extensive experience in the appellate process, including representing clients and briefing before the Board of Immigration Appeals, the federal Circuit Courts of Appeals, the Massachusetts Federal District Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.

We have successfully reopened and remanded cases from the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Circuit Courts, thereby vacating removal orders and allowing clients to adjust status.

Attorney Macarius is admitted to the First through Ninth Circuits, the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. In Da Silva Neves v. Holder, the firm filed a Writ of Certiorari with the United States Supreme Court, which remanded the case to the First Circuit for further proceedings. The case is cited as precedent in Kurzban’s Immigration Law Sourcebook.
